Check whether the clicks are meaningful
Review landing-page views, engaged sessions, geography, device mix, placements, and comments—not only link clicks. A strong click-through rate can still come from curiosity rather than purchase intent.
Make the ad clear enough to discourage the wrong audience. Mention the use case, location, starting price, or essential eligibility when it improves qualification.
Find the promise gap
The landing page should immediately continue the same promise made in the ad. If the visual, offer, price, or next step changes after the click, confidence drops.
Keep one primary action. Make benefits easy to scan, put essential proof near the decision point, and answer the objections that normally delay purchase.
Test the offer, not only the design
A polished page cannot rescue an offer that feels risky, generic, or poorly timed. Test bundles, demonstrations, consultations, guarantees you can honour, delivery clarity, and relevant social proof.
Avoid constant discounts if they weaken trust or attract customers who will never buy at a sustainable price.
Verify tracking and checkout
Complete the journey on mobile yourself. Test page speed, form errors, payment options, coupon logic, event tracking, thank-you pages, and CRM delivery. Technical friction often hides behind apparently healthy ad metrics.
Use consistent campaign parameters and deduplicate browser and server events where applicable.
Read results by funnel stage
If clicks are weak, work on the hook. If landing views are weak, work on load speed. If product views are strong but checkout starts are low, work on offer and trust. If checkout starts are strong but purchases fail, inspect payment and delivery friction.
Treat the campaign as one connected system. Locate the exact stage where intent drops, then run one focused test at a time.
